luiten: August 2007 Archives
Tucson Rifle Club's monthly 1000 yard prone match will be held this coming Sunday, August 26, 2007.
Squadding will be in the pits at 0630. If the range office isn't open yet and there's no sign-in sheet on the outside table you must still sign in before you leave for the day.
Firing begins promptly at 0700. Course of fire is two strings of 20 shots each, with unlimited sighting shots, in a block time of one hour. Prone position, supported by sling, bipod or front rest. Service or match rifle, any sights.
Good News! The cowboy shooters have apparently moved their 4th Sunday shoot to Tombstone, so it is unlikely that we will have a range conflict with their group. This should allow us more time to conduct our event this month.
Match fee: $5
